LOOPin’s mission is to empower the LA LOOP tribe to make the world a better place, one small act at a time. Through our LOOPin grants and volunteerism efforts, we quickly mobilize to support our communities when they most need it, leveraging our network and resources to make an impact however we can. Whether it’s getting technology devices into the hands of students who need it or procuring critical PPE for our heroic first responders, LOOPin is here to help. Check out all the ways the LOOPin community is helping and all the easy ways you can get involved.
LA LOOP donates part of its proceeds to nonprofit organizations who make a difference in the world by empowering a community of passionate volunteers.
We roll up our sleeves to support organizations in need of Volunteer support. We build community through service and enrich the lives of all involved.
LA LOOP customers walk this world with purpose every day, giving back, and building community through action.
As COVID-19 continues to affect so many, LA LOOP is working every day to connect our customers and communities to help those in need. Here are ways you can LOOPin and join our efforts:
● Help kids learn at home by donating used devices. If you have used devices click here.
● Virtually Volunteer from a safe social distance. Connect with much needed service opportunities on our GivePulse page.
●Check out our LA MASK. The stylish and functional way to keep you, your family and those around you safe.
●LA LOOP and Ethos Giving are working together to provide critically needed medical supplies to frontline responders. Tax-deductible donations can be made here.
● With all of the phenomenal sketches of LA LOOP we were able to provide three families with a month's worth of groceries through A Sense Of Home. Now, with this grocery list Loopers and the ASOH community can cook together and stay #cookedconnected.
LOOPin Supporting PWJC
For this year's LOOPin grant, we asked LOOPers to nominate organizations that matter to them. LOOPin is all about helping people together, and our grant supports organizations with leveraging volunteers more effectively.
After receiving heartfelt applications this fall, we asked four independent judges to select this year's awardee: Pace Women's Justice Center (PWJC), a nonprofit that provides free legal services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse.
Due to COVID-19, PWJC had to transition its free legal services to virtual counseling. With the ongoing help of LA LOOP, PWJC has successfully shifted to a virtual model. Now, staff and volunteers alike can continue doing what they do best: bringing justice to survivors of abuse.
