Every February, Tucson transforms. The city fills with collectors, designers, and dreamers descending on the International Bead Fair, a gathering that feels part treasure hunt, part pilgrimage. For years, we've returned to those same aisles, those same vendors, building relationships and filling our archives with materials that speak to us: stones that catch the light just right, beads with history and soul.
This summer, those archives gave us something extraordinary.
African Glass and Dusty Rose Agate
We spent time in our studio with handfuls of these materials: the African Glass with its warm, translucent glow, the Dusty Rose Agate with its impossibly soft, muted blush. Not designing for production. Not thinking in dozens. Just: what do these materials want to become?
What emerged are the pieces in our Summer Vault. Exquisite. Absolutely gorgeous. And limited in a way that feels almost accidental, because we made only a handful before they sold out. That's not strategy. That's what happens when you design from love instead of volume.
The Joy of One-of-a-Kind
One of the purest joys of what we do is hearing from our loopers: "It feels like I'm the only one who has it."
That matters. It says something about how you move through the world when you wear something truly rare. There's a quiet confidence in that, not about status, but about particularity. About knowing your piece was made with intention, not mass-produced in the thousands. About joining a community of people who understand that sometimes the most meaningful things are the ones made in small numbers by people who care.
This is the fabric of LA LOOP. It always has been.
What's Here Is Here
The Summer Vault won't last long. We don't restock these pieces. We don't make them again. When they're gone, they're gone, and that's exactly the point. Each one carries the specificity of a moment in the studio, a stone chosen, a design born from materials that called to us at a particular time.
If you've been thinking about adding something to your collection, this is the moment. But more than that, if you've ever felt that flutter of recognition when you find something truly yours, you'll understand why we do this.
The African Glass. The Dusty Rose Agate. Waiting in the Vault.
