CAN is currently dedicated to raising awareness about and finding homes for the more than 100,000 youth in foster care in the U.S. awaiting an adoptive family and improving outcomes for the more than 400,000 youth in foster care.

“Initially, I organized an event called Wine, Woman and Shoes. The event raised money to aid in foster children funding homes. Now I work with them also at their Fresh Outfitters storefront and events to find clothing for job interviews or just to fill their closet as they go out on their own. I always meet the most incredible foster youth at these events. There is a growing amount of foster children in Los Angeles.

The numbers keep growing and this organization helps them find homes as they are leaving the program to help them get started to be on their own.”
